We make awesome socks. They are full of love, warmth and character. But we are so much more than that! As a Certified B-Corporation, we are proud to be part of a global movement of businesses working together for a positive change. Because together, we can prepare today for a better tomorrow.
Clean your car: Use socks to clean your car or motorcycle. You can use it to wash down your car, polish the chrome, and then throw away without guilt once the sock has become too dirty to use.
DIY dryer balls: Dryer balls help fluff your clothes and are an alternative to fabric softeners and dryer sheets, especially useful for bed sheets or pillows. Because they can be expensive, you can make your own by placing tennis balls inside clean socks.
Clean a dry erase board: Instead of wasting a paper towel or using the eraser that came with it, a better method to clean marker off of a dry erase board is with socks. This also works well with chalk boards, too.
DIY Swiffer refill: Chenille socks can make reusable Swiffer covers. Just slip the sock over the Swiffer head, positioning the sock opening in the center so the entire underside is covered. See a good direction here.
Save dry hands and feet: If your hands and feet are still chapped and cracked from the winter months, cover in Vaseline or lotion and cover with clean socks overnight. The sock will help your skin better absorb the moisture and keep it from rubbing off on your sheets.
Stress ball: Made a homemade stress ball with play dough, a sandwich bag, and socks. Place play dough in a sandwich bag or wrap with cellophane and then put it inside your sock. Secure and tie with a ribbon.
Dog toy: Fill a sock with unwanted socks rolled into balls. Secure with a shoe lace and let your dog go to town on their new favorite toy. You can also place a treat inside or a chew stick as an alternative.
Polish and buff shoes: Instead of using a cloth or towel, use old socks to add polish to your shoes and buff them after. Make sure to use two different socks for buffing and applying polish.
DIY doll clothes: A fun activity for parents and kids is to cut up socks and use rubber bands and string to make different outfits for dolls. Pinterest has some ideas to get you started.
Potholders: You can make attractive quilted potholders by using a loom from a craft store and cutting strips of socks. Thread the strips of socks through the loom and secure. See how it's done here.
Adventure, intrigue, and socks. Although the un-sexy foot garment often gets a bad rap for falling into the uninspired-dad-gifts category, it certainly doesn't where MrMiSocki's concerned. The brand's very cool-and-comfortable styles come with a comic-book backstory that's literally sewn into each foot. Intrigued
\"These are the best socks I own and I have a ton of socks with crazy/fun designs. These stand out and always get compliments whenever I wear them. Love how each one has a story as well! They are super comfy and wash well. Highly recommend to EVERYONE!\" -MrMiSocki Super Fan
We didn't want to just create another sock that promised to be super comfortable and funky enough to get you a compliment here and there. Although our socks are probably the most comfortable socks ever and you'll be blushing all day from the compliments you receive, we wanted them to do so much for you. To bring you joy throughout your day. To be something that you thought about and wanted to talk about because you loved the comic story, or the characters or even just the designs.

What a fabulous idea. I'll have to start collecting our mismatched socks to put one of these cool little snakes together! My girls would love it. Thanks for the post! Pinned it!rebecca at
Very cute! I just have one question. I don't quite see why you have to cut the socks so that they are no longer cylinders. If you just sew one round sock piece to the next, you'll have a nice long snake and you won't even have to do the long seam. What do you think
My daughter and I found this idea today and immediately started to make one for her brother for his 4th Birthday that is coming up. It will be finished tonight after the hubby gets home with the pillow stuffing. We sewed everything by hand as I couldn't find my sewing machine. You recommended at least 10 socks, we used 15.
You are a pro! I found your project on Pinterest and it inspired me so much! I'm a begginer in sewing, but I'm determined to learn :) Here's my version of mismatched snake. It's on Serbian, but it's google-translateble. PS - I shared your link if you don't mind. If you do, I'll put it away.
Disability advocates are encouraging allies and the community at-large to put their best foot forward on World Down Syndrome Day. Select the right socks, these should have similar sizes. You can use at least 10 socks for one sock snake. If there are no similar sizes, you can rather have them arranged from largest to smallest, or vice versa.

Going on walks with my daughters is one of the quickest ways I come back to myself. They bolt out of the door with mismatched socks, or a scarf that has been saftey-pinned into a caplet, ready to meet the world half way, whereas I emerge from the house carrying all of my 'to-do's' and 'remember-not-to-forget's' buzzing around me in a nearly palpable swarm. With this one action, going from inside to out, I am released from the shoulds and coulds of the day, and my senses remind me of the 'me' that patiently waits below that 'surface me' that performs her 'ballet of productivity' for the majority of my waking hours. I slowly remember that I am a human being and not a human doing.

Before venturing into socks, the imaginative entrepreneur created and manufactured mismatched battling animal mittens for adults, called \"Vs. Mittens\". But selling mittens were too seasonal and wasn't ideal for someone aiming to be a full-time business owner like herself. Mittens then morphed into socks but rebranded to a message she felt passionate about; that you can be friends with someone who is not exactly like you, be it the way you look, how you view religion, or even how different you perceive things.
Pals Socks introduces this open-minded friendship concept to kids in an easy and unassuming way that will impact their life as they grow. The brand was created with two goals: to design the most fun, comfy socks ever! And to create positive social change amongst fellow humans.
