Developers are able to transition their ongoing costs into home prices as the market grows and people see increased demand for homes in certain areas. Because of the lower overhead, they can offer competitive prices on desirable units that would otherwise sell out quickly. For example, one developer offers reduced payment plans to new buyers of luxury off plan projects in the United Arab Emirates in the upscale Marina district; the buyer has several years to pay for the unit before full payment is required.
